About
U-Report is a mobile-based tool designed to help young people influence and address issues they care about in their communities. Poll questions and alert messages are sent out to U-Reporters and their real-time responses are collected and visualised online. Results and suggestions are analysed by location, age and gender and shared back with U-Reporters, as well as with media, civil society and government (by UNICEF and U-Report partners) to help the voices of young people influence decisions on issues that matter to them.

U-Report relies on the voluntary participation of young people to regularly share their ideas and opinions on issues that matter to them – such as education, unemployment, early pregnancies, health and nutrition, drug and alcohol abuse, youth participation and the environment. It can also be used to share important information during emergencies, like disease outbreaks or floods.

U-Report works with UNICEF, civil society, government and media partners to amplify the voices and concerns of young people through the platform - supporting youth to influence and create positive change in their communities.
